  I ordered online with ship to home. After 10 days of not shipping I then received an email stating there was a delay in shipping and if it didn't ship by Jan. 5 the order would be canceled. I know they had the item at this store but it was cheaper online because of cyber Monday sales. Made absolutely no sense to me why there would be a delay, but I can deal with that. However, there is no way to cancel the order. I called customer service and she told me I could buy it in the store and refuse the shipment or return it (if it ships), the only redeeming quality about the whole experience was the customer service representative was very friendly and helpful. So with it being a Christmas present I ordered online with in store pickup at this store. Less than an hour later I get an email saying my item was ready for pickup. I go to the store and the lady at the pickup counter is trying to help me as fast as she can but has to radio the "back of the house" because apparently after the item gets picked off the floor it could be anywhere (there is no system that says where to find the item). After 40 minutes I get an email while standing in the store stating my item was picked up. Finally after about 10 more minutes of me standing around waiting a "back of house" guy comes up and asks me what the item was. I showed him one on the floor and he pulled it and then said let me go look in one more place. He looks in a closet space approximately 20 feet to the right of the pickup counter CLEARLY intended for holding pickup orders and ding ding there it is with my name on it and everything. IT WAS SITTING 20 FEET TO THE RIGHT OF THE COUNTER THE ENTIRE TIME!!! The whole system is crazy and unorganized. There is absolutely no thought put in to what the customer has to go through just to make a purchase. I will never shop Toys"R"Us again.

  Toys R Us is the worst! My child got a gift card here for Christmas. We let him go online and pick out a toy and paid for it with the gift card. I guess they have no idea what they actually have in stock, or just don't care, but then later sent us an email that they didn't have the stuff and had cancelled the order. Sad kid #1. So since their online sucks so bad, we just went to the store where we could buy something they actually have, but then tried to pay for it with gift card and it had zero balance... Sad kid #2. Apparently even though they never actually shipped the previous online order, they went ahead and changed the gift card, which will supposedly credit back at some point, so they claim. Anyway, just the worst most frustrating experience. Anyway, I won't be buying stuff from this business anymore. Just go somewhere else, it isn't worth the hassle.
